Monster

Frank Peretti is by far my favorite fictional writer. Some of my favorite fictional writings are from him including "The Oath," "The Visitation," and "This Present Darkness." I greatly enjoyed all of these, and it is no wonder why his books are so successful.

Well, I was holding him to high standards when I read "Monster." "Monster" is one of his most recent books, and the first adult fictional book he has written for quit some time. And I believe that it was well worth the wait.

I must warn the reader though, the long story is worth it in the end. Of all of his books, "Monster" had the best climax. This has been a somewhat of a complaint about Perettie; he has an amazing story, but doesn't finish the way you wish. In this story however, you may be wondering what is going to happen to the characters, and once you get to the climax, you are glad you stuck with it.

Therefore, I highly recommend this book, and all of his others. Frank Peretti has a way with words, and can tell a story like no one else.
